Mandrake Bio is an AI-led protein design company. We design programmable gene-editing enzymes from scratch - pairing generative models with first-principles biophysics and high-throughput wet-lab validation to engineer editors with the compactness, precision, and control that real applications require. We're building the full stack for this: large-scale biological data pipelines, foundation models trained on protein and genomic sequence, and generative design systems that propose new molecular tools - closed-looped with experimental data so the models learn from what actually works at the bench. The aim is to make gene editing programmable and reliable enough to deploy across both medicine and agriculture.
